SIMPLE SOLUTIONS
Standard;Simple Solutions to Complex Problems
Anybody that wants to can do this and I never cease to be amazed that more responsible people don't. What I am talking about is to arrive at a permanent solution to any problem through logic. To do this follow these steps:
1. Take a piece of paper and define a problem.
2. Write down every action that could be taken that would result in the solution to that problem. On this list you will write down many solutions that are politically incorrect and totally unthinkable and things that would be completely unacceptable. You will also write down some solutions that are less radical but perhaps politically incorrect.
3. Discuss them with whoever, research them, evaluate them and then...
4. This is the tricky part, IMPLEMENT THE BEST ONE.
THE DRUG PROBLEM:
For example, lets take the drug problem. We could keep on doing what we have always done but that doesn’t work. You could put the death penalty on first offenders but there are better solutions. The one I boiled it down to is to announce through the press and the media that all drugs seized by law enforcement would be laced with cyanide and put back out onto the street. You don’t really have to do that just say that you are doing it. Then every time someone overdoses you could announce in banner headlines that they got a hold of some of the contaminated drugs. This wouldn’t stop the addicts but it would give pause to some of the middle and upper class punks that think it is smart to use them at parties etc. These people wouldn’t go near them. So you would eliminate most of the non addicted users. That would put such a crimp in the industry that it possibly could not survive financially, it would certainly cut deeply into their profits. At this point police would no longer be overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of the problem and could successfully eradicate the residual of that industry, and the health programs could stand a better chance of successfully dealing with the remaining addicts. You could also set aside a reservation like some offshore island where drugs of the highest and most potent quality would be provided free of charge in any quantity desired to any person who wanted to live on that reservation. There would also be provided to these people the necessities of life. This wouldn’t cost society near as much as having these same people on the streets of America committing most of our crime in order to get the money needed to fuel their addiction. There could be a similar facility provided where no drugs were available and where anyone wanted to reform could volunteer to do so. At this facility treatment (such as it is) would be made available.
THE PROBLEM IN THE MIDDLE EAST:
The protagonists in this part of the world are so dedicated that my formula resulted in only one permanent solution. Remove the Isrealies. Sure that sounds radical but here is how it could work without costing the rest of the world much. You would start by sending in a massive peacekeeping force and an enormous trustee organization. The oil rich Arab nations of the middle east that detest isreal would agree to buy the infrastructure of the country and all state owned lands for an agreed appraised price. This money would be divided by the number of israelis and either doled out to them in one lump sum or paid to them in a monthly or annual stipend over time. Then all personally owned real estate of those wishing to sell would be sold off by the trustee to individual Arabs with financing handled by the rich arab governments or other financial institutions. The United States, Australia, Canada and other countries could agree to grant full citizenship to the departing israelies. This would not be much of a burden on receiving countries as there, for example are already far more jews in the United States then there are in isreal. They for the most part are desirable citizens for any country to have. These people would arrive in their new countries with a pocket full of money, a good education and a good work ethic.
With no jews remaining in the middle east the region would still have problems as all regions of this planet have problems but they would be more manageable and the big problem would cease to exist.
There is no other solution, as long as Jews and Arabs share that same part of the world the problem will be there.
CRIME:
What we now do to combat crime does not work. It is that simple, it does not work. So what would work? The obvious answer to that question is to eliminate crime from the society you must eliminate the criminals. You could just kill them off but that would be un thinkable so here is what I came up with. Again here we turn to the off shore Islands of which the United States have more than most people realize. The State of Alaska has hundreds, if not thousands of Islands. There are a number of Islands off the coast of California. What you do is to send in a crew to construct livable housing and mess facilities similar to those used by the Army or other branches of the military. Then you set up an absolutely defended point where boats could dock to load and unload. Within this facility would be no guards or public employees of any kind. There would be phones but all calls in or out would be routed through a switchboard and subject to monitoring. Any inmate in any correctional institution in the United States could elect to voluntarily move to the island. The people on the island would be furnished with all the basic necessities of life, medical and dental supplies and equipment, small arms, narcotics and alcohol distilling equipment. They could elect to live in a nation of Outlaws because their behavior shows that they can not live in a nation of laws. Society would impose no laws on the inhabitants of the island. They of course would be free to establish any laws they felt they needed and enforce them in any way they chose. Three time offenders would never be allowed to return. Other offenders would be allowed to return to mainstream society when their time was up. It would be cheaper on society to provide for a person on this island than it is to keep these people incarcerated now.
CONCLUSION:
These three proposals are given as examples of how radical society must become in order to solve the deep rooted unsolvable problems of our times. I have a couple other examples that I intend to add at a future date so if this kind of thing interests you check back. The beauty of the internet is that it is not static.
When do you want to pay your taxes?
My answer to that question is, of course, after I am dead! Think about it, we have this sacred cow in the United States that no one ever seems to talk about. That is the right to leave your money to any person, place or thing that suits your fancy. Dead people don’t need money and for the most part the heirs don’t deserve it. It is money they did nothing to earn. Frequently it is misused by the ungrateful recipients. I have heard or read that there is more than enough money left by people who die intestate to more than run the federal, state and local governments in the United States. So here are some of my proposals:
1. Allow people to name in their wills only those that they claimed, or could have claimed as dependents or spouses on their last Federal Tax return or non dependent natural children who, until they reached maturity were claimed as dependents. Decedents could leave up to 10% of their remaining estate to qualifying charities. Limit the value of the estate left by any decedent to a dependent to one million dollars. Spouses could receive half the estate plus one million dollars. Guidelines for automatic disbursements to the qualifying people could be allowed for in the case of those who died intestate.
2. All other money, real and personal property left in decedents estates would revert to the government.
3. Limit the scope and nature of trusts so they could not be used to subvert the tax laws.
4. Provide a constitutional amendment prohibiting any governmental body from owning real property. The governments would have to dispose of real property by public auction, the government would be obligated to finance this property for thirty years at 3% simple interest. They could record restrictions on the property guarantying that it could be used for only certain purposes. This would protect our military bases, national parks, forests and other public lands. The one exception to this rule would be public roads. The governments would have to lease all other real property that they require from the owners. A board of equity could be established to insure fairness of rents paid for land that could be used for no other than military purposes.
4. Amend the Constitution of the United States to permanently abolish all other forms of taxation.
5. The government would be required to disburse all surplus money collected to the citizens.
A person may feel that it is unfair that he can not leave his vast fortune to his heirs as he chooses but consider that a young person with no tax obligations has the opportunity to make and keep his own fortune. We would all be a lot happier people if there were no sales, property, income or any other taxes to worry about. I know I would.

The big solution
Simple Solution to the ills of society. Everyone should have a Federal Job.
This is another in my series of Simple Solutions to Complex Problems. This one has to do with Poverty, Welfare, the Homeless, Vagrancy and petty crime.
The title of this article makes me sound like a real socialist, doesn’t it? Well read on sweet dreamer.
Some of the biggest problems that this society has is with indigent people, welfare recipients, the homeless, vagrants, truant’s, the mentally incompetent that there is no room for in the institutions, the chronically unemployed and the unemployable. These folks, some of them not of their own choosing, some just plain lazy, others with drug and alcohol problems, cause a real drain on our society. They commit a large percentage of our crime, they litter out streets, they overcrowd our jails and emergency rooms.
We of the working middle class pay for their incarceration, their medical care, their education and we pay to meet all of their other needs. This costs us Billions of Dollars every year and the price is going up.
Now, think about it, can you come up with a simple solution that would solve all of these problems with one simple fix? I have thought about it and come up with what I believe to be a workable plan.
My plan is based on the premise that it would cost society a lot less in the long run to hire all of these unfortunates. Give them a minimum wage Federal Job. This could be based on the concept of the Civilian Conservation Corps of the 1930's but much larger. Everyone would be entitled to a Federal job but nothing else, there would be no other form of public assistance. At the work camps they would be tested and placed in the type of work that they are best suited for. Many of them would be put to work meeting the needs of their community, including growing and processing their food, making their own clothes, doing their own laundry and many other survival tasks. They would then be creating the wealth that they are now consuming. Out of their wages they would be charged a reasonable rate for their board and room. They would be housed in dormitories, barracks and cottages for married couples and families. They would be charged for their medical insurance, which they free load now by impacting our emergency rooms, which are not allowed to turn them away. Vagrants or homeless people would be sentenced to the camps until they accrued sufficient savings from their earnings to be transferred to a halfway house in a city where they could get work and leave the program. The hopeless would be given work to suit their abilities even if that work amounted to lying on their back in a hospice bed at their facility while they closed out their lives.
There was an old story about inductees during WWII. A man appeared at the draft board location and said “You can’t use me, see, I am paraplegic”. “Oh yeah, said the sergeant, see that man over there filling that bucket with water, go tell him that it is full, he is blind.” There are enough able bodied among the sick, lame and lazy though to staff thousands of fire crews, keep our highways and roadways policed of all litter and trash and landscape all public lands. These residents would not compete with mainstream business and industry. An Unwed mother with lots of children could be put work watching the children of another mother like her while the other mother worked in the mess hall or the laundry. Both mothers would earn the minimum wage.
This whole program could be funded by savings realized from the money we now spend addressing the special needs of these people. Only the vagrants and other appropriate petty criminals would be sentenced to participate, all others would be there on a voluntary basis. Keep in mind that there would be nowhere else for them to turn. No public welfare, no free lunch, they would have to enter the program and work for what they received or parish. Educational programs, counseling and support groups would all be available in plentiful supply so that these indigent that were capable of bettering themselves could do so. Actually the million or so Federal employees that administered the program at the grass roots level could be selected from the residents as they deserved promotion to a better paying job and a better life style. All of the residents would be paying into social security and medicare so that when they reached advanced age there would be the same safety net awaiting them that awaits the middle class. Off duty hours could be spent at small business enterprise within the community to better prepare the residents for a better life when they were prepared to leave the camp and rejoin mainstream society.
Some would grow to prefer that lifestyle and remain there the rest of their lives, that’s fine it would add stability to the organization. They would wear uniforms, eat in mess halls and sleep in dorms, just like the military. They could be given passes to go into the nearest town if they could show that they had money to spend. Their transportation would be provided by busses, no private automobiles would be allowed, or needed at the camps. Medical care, dental care and pharmaceuticals would be available through their medical insurance plan that would operate similar to an hmo and be paid for by their paying of premiums. Their own police would enforce laws that would be rather more stringent than in the mainstream society. Their own courts would lay down sentences and incarceration facilities could be constructed in each camp.
Any camp where there were children would of course have decent schools with fewer teachers per student than in public schools but with more teachers aids drawn from the best qualified of the resident population so that each student would receive a more personal attention and overall a better education than in the public schools.
Over the last 20 years or so there have been hundreds of military base closures. These facilities for the most part are still useable and still belong to the government. This would be the ideal place to locate these camps as well as smaller work camps in all of our National Parks and Forests and wildlife refuge’s.
The streets of our cities would be clean, no more slums, no more sub-standard ghetto schools, crime would be only white collar crime. Business would boom and the United States would be free to reach it’s full potential. There would be no more hunger or poverty in our land.
Doctors Insurance
Many Doctors today are driven out of business by the greed of shyster lawyers sewing on behalf of crooked patients who think they see the way to a quick retirement at the Doctor and Insurance company’s expense. If I were a doctor and they notified me that my mal practice insurance coverage had just gone from $50,000.00 a year to a quarter million dollars per year I think I would do the following.
I would sell everything that I own that was not exempt in bankruptcy. I would then lease a car, a house, some furniture my suits my medical and office equipment and everything else that I needed. Then I would put all my money in an off shore numbered account. I would keep necessary cash in a safe place where I could reach it quickly, then I would have some flyers and a large sign printed to put in my office and to hand out to each patient telling them that I pledge to do my best in treating them but if something went wrong they would bear the burden not me. I would tell them that I am judgement proof and that it would be a waste of their time to sue me because they would never realize one cent from the judgement. I would also have each patient acknowledge that I was judgement proof and un-insured before I treated them. I could then charge less for my services and I would have only honest patients not the fast buck artists.
There is another more complicated way to go about this by incorporating yourself and then bankrupting the corporation in the event of a lawsuit.
The best way to handle the issue is to have State Legislatures and or the Federal Government pass legislation prohibiting civil suits against Physicians unless there had first been a successful criminal prosecution pursued against the Physician where he was found to be criminally negligent. In that case and only in that case could a patient pursue a civil action. Most insurance companies should sell insurance to the public that would pay the costs to the patient if he had an adverse experience while receiving well intended medical care.
Even though this and many of my other ideas are posted on my website almost no one knows of it and it is possible that no one will ever read any of my ideas, except maybe my family who are the only ones that are ever likely to see my website. If you stumbled across it somehow or someone told you about it please send me an email at Pahrumpsters@hotmail.com and let me know what you think.
Where have all the Humvees Gone?
Right after WW2 the government released thousands of surplus vehicles for sale to the public in the United States. You could buy a used jeep from the general service administration (GSA) for a few hundred dollars. Every part of our country had it's share of these bargain vehicles. Many of them are still in use today. The government continued to sell surplus jeeps for many years, until after the Viet Nahm war when they developed the Humvee, famous in the Gulf war. I have never seen a military surplus Humvee on any road in America. It is kinda like trying to spot a baby pigeon. Have you ever seen one, I haven't. Goodness only knows that we taxpayers pay through the nose for our military to acquire these wonderful machines and like all government equipment there comes a time when they are replaced for active duty use. Does the government then destroy them or do they give them to some third world cess pool to be used against us in the next conflict. What ever they do with them they do not find their way to us, the taxpayers that bought and paid for them in the first place. I wish that some young activist (younger than me, that is) would pursue the matter. Maybe 60 minutes or some investigative journalism show find out what happens to them. Tell your friends to write their congressman and demand an accounting. We are entitled to those vehicles, since they were ours in the first place. If you have any thoughts or answers to this problem please send me email.

Stop Hijacking
We could easily Stop Airline Highjacking...
...If we wanted to. First make the cockpit completely separate from the passenger compartment. I mean there should be no door. The only way to reach the cockpit would be to exit the plane and reenter the other end. This would completely stop anyone from entering the cockpit while the plane was in flight. A small porta potty room could be added to the cockpit and possibly have three people in the cockpit that could land the plane safely.
Next to prevent a bunch of arabs from using intimidation by threatening bodily harm to a person or persons in the passenger compartment thus forcing the pilot to comply with their demands we could install low level stun guns behind every seat. These would remain locked unless the steward in the rear or someone in the cockpit released them. Upon their release all the passengers would be armed, not only for self defense but also to concentrate all of their stun power against the arab that announced his intention to highjack the plane. The only other problem would be that of planting a bomb in the luggage. There is only one simple sure fix for that problem. The only way to absolutely prevent a bomb in the luggage is to fly the luggage on a cargo plane that carries no passengers. Since this would be prohibitively expensive it is a risk we are just going to have to live with. Oh, sure you could insulate the passenger compartment from the baggage compartment as best you could and make a section of the baggage compartment so it would blow out easily in such a manner that the baggage would be dumped but the plane would not crash. That would help in some cases and may be worth looking into.

The Other Side
Here is something I thought of the other day and thought you might find it amusing.
Life on the other side is just like life on this side. That’s right, nothing changes, well almost nothing. A few things are different, and I don’t think I am at odds with any of the major religions of the world when I propose this list to you;
you no longer have a physical body nor do you have any of the things associated with it. Along with the physical body goes our concerns for health, for shelter, for our appearance (thus no vanity). There would also be no need for rest or sleep. We would not be interested or even capable of having sex or reproducing.
You no longer have any need for money nor for power as we know it, although any time you have two or more sentient beings some kind of pecking order is established.
Along with our need for shelter goes our need or desire for physical assets, the necessities of life, as well as our toys. There would be no booze, no drugs, no smoking and no verbal language.
Sports and games and competitions of all kinds are out the window as well as pastimes like gambling, handicapping, odds, calculations. There would be no need for insurance and no need to work. There would be no physical books to read or television to watch. Some authors who claim to be in touch with the other side, such as Ruth Montgomery speak of celestial music. But there would be no physical musical instruments as we know them here on this side. There would be no families, no family relationships and no family ties.
There would be no medium of exchange nor any purpose for business or trade. No difference would exist between night and day or summer or winter. There would be no time as we know it here.
So everything is the same there as here except as I have noted above and except for what I forgot to mention.
Now, keeping these things in mind, try and write an interesting short story about life on the other side.
Who God Is. . . And Who We Are. . .
All of my life I have delved into various religions. They all seem to start with the premise that God simply exists. This has always bothered me not knowing who this deity really was and how he came to be in the first place. Drawing from many sources and with a little original thought I have come up with a plausible explanation of who God is, or at least who he might be and how he might have come to be.
US and GOD
Who we are, Who God is, and how we came to be here.
An unproven hypophysis

As you read this letter please take the time to relate various statements to scripture from your own religious belief.
Before the last big bang there was a society of beings on a habitable planet that developed through evolution perhaps as we now are developing.
As their science improved and they were required to expend less physical effort in order to survive their mental capacity increased as their physical bodies decreased. If this incremental change continued to occur for a long enough period of time the end result would ultimately be that they were entirely mental beings with no physical matter to their bodies whatsoever. The mandatary end product of any evolutionary process, if evolution exists at all.
Without any material body there was nothing to physically separate one being from another. That mass mind functioned as one yet the individual personalities still existed.
In time the universe contracted into the big bang but these/these beings survived because they had no physical body that could be harmed by physical disaster.
This was the only intelligent life left in the universe.
In time, after the bang the cycle of life and death of planets rekindled and evolution began anew in many places. One of these places was our own earth.
Evolution followed its natural process for millions of years.
In the meantime this being which survived the bang regarded itself and determined that even though it was able to think collectively it was also still composed of individual personalities and not all of those personalities were capable of perfect thought.
The being then cast out the billions of imperfect parts as individual points of life. Before leaving they were each implanted with the instruction that they should remain disconnected from the central intelligence so long as they remained imperfect. They remained a part, although a disconnected part of the main body. It was their sole job to obtain perfection and once again rejoin the main body
Not knowing how to become perfect the spirits congregated in the vicinity of the physical places in space. At least one such place, our earth was becoming more interesting to these spirits than others. Consequently earth attracted more of these spirits. No one at this time apparently knows how many places or planets attracted a following of spirits or how many spirits there are. We do know that earth is one such place and that it has attracted at least 5 billion spirits.
As the earth evolved various of these spirits began to enter into the bodies of the various life forms such as birds, reptiles etc. in order to experience what those life forms experienced in their earth plane existence.
Originally these habitations were short lived and the spirits would step out and leave the earth creature to his business.
Eventually the time came where the spirits remained too long and were unable to depart until the animal came to the end of its natural life. At that time the spirits, being eternal, returned to their home on the other side.
GOD CREATES MANKIND
Observing this phenomena, god decided that he would choose from the available evolved life forms of the earth what he considered the most suitable for the spirits to inhabit and that one spirit would enter each creature when it drew it's first independent breath upon leaving it's mothers womb and to remain with that animal for it's entire mortal life.
Whether he chose an animal that was closer to what we know today as an ape or chimp or some other animal is not known and is really irrelevant since evolution of species did not stop at that point and that chosen animal has now evolved into the human of today.
So a spirit enters an earth creature at birth and remains for the life of the creature. The spirit then returns to the other side to prepare to repeat the process all over again.
What is the point of this cycle you may wonder. Who knows the will of god? Perhaps it is intended to allow the spirits an opportunity, through repeated brief earth plane lives to gradually improve so that eventually each spirit who chooses to experience earth plane existence might become perfect as god is perfect and to once again become one with god.
Most of these spirits were cast out as equals and though some were closer to perfection than others, all were flawed. At least two, and possibly more of the absolutely perfect spirits were also released from the main body. It was their quest to tend to the needs of the flawed spirits and to act as the medium by which a flawed spirit could eventually reunite with god.
HOW TO BE PERFECT
I believe the purpose of our existence is to become perfect like God. Just what does that mean, what is the measure of perfection? A lot of answers come to mind but one, more than any other stands out. It could be worded something like the definition that follows; To develop the ability to love the most despicable person alive more than you love yourself. Now that would be easy if all you had to do was to just gave it lip service, but that surely wouldn't make you perfect, no in order to attain perfection you must feel that in your heart. To actually have more concern for the most despicable person than you have for yourself. So there you have it one simple instruction that if followed and achieved would qualify you as perfect and you would surely be allowed to return to god. Has anyone ever succeeded in returning to god? I doubt it.
THE ROLE OF JESUS CHRIST
Since not all spirits chose to take the path of finding their way back to god by successive earth plane existence' there was a perfect spirit assigned to tend to this flock and to usher them back when the time came. There was also at least one perfect spirit assigned to become the portal through which the spirits who had chosen earth plane could pass in returning to the eternal god. Perhaps we have known this spirit by many names as he has himself experienced earth plane on more than one occasion. On at least one occassion he was kown as Jesus Christ.
CONCLUSION
This is a possibility. It is unlikely to be entirely true or to be the entire truth. It is hoped that this letter will be read and considered with an open mind. The dogma of organized religion serves a worthwhile purpose in leading it's flock to a light but can be very detrimental to the open mind or to original thought.
So as not to confuse anyone let me stress that We are all eternal. No one has ever died and no one ever will. We simply live in our natural state, on the other side and periodically return to the earth to test ourselves and the progress we have made. Ruth Montgomery stressed this concept over and over in all of her books.
